A very popular beauty applicator that you most likely have heard of is the Beauty Blender. It is a $20 ,or €17.80. Since this is expensive, and unaffordable for many people, there have been a lot of off-brand beauty blenders sold. I am fortunate enough to have been given an On-Brand Beauty Blender for Christmas from my Mom, and Dad. I love it, and I also was given, for my birthday, an off brand beauty blender set so I thought I would compare them here for you guys and girls, and determine whether or not the beauty blender is something you should invest in, so here we go!
These first two photos are photos of the precision beauty blender (the pink one), next to the on-brand beauty blender! By the way, I am so sorry that the actual beauty blender is so dirty, but it was originally white so even when cleaned, it becomes a little bit stained! As you can tell by the picture the precision beauty blender is more wide, and it has a little line around the side, also it doesn't come to as much of a point as the actual beauty blender which might make it harder when trying to blend particular sections of your face, such as your inner corner.
So to the left are the before and after photos of my under eyes after, and before using the beauty blender. The one to the right is the precision beauty blender at use, and the one on the left is the on-brand beauty blender at use. I do apologize for the different lightnings in these photos, but the sun was being really weird that day!
Here is the eye with the on brand beauty blender before and after. As you can see the undereye area is really covered up , and you cannot really see where the undereye concealer was blended, and in my opinion it looks very natural!
To the left are the before and after photos of the eye with the precision beauty blender being used. I also can see that it is also blended very nicely too, however I feel like it was a lot harder to blend the concealer near the inner corner of the eye because the top of the blender does not narrow in as much as the on-brand beauty blender does.
One thing I noticed when using the blenders is that the on brand beauty blender took a lot less time to blend, where as the off brand blender took a larger amount of time to blend! I feel like the actual blending job is similar enough in to the other on brand beauty blender, so I would recommend if you are on a budget to just get the off brand blender. However, if you can afford the money to buy the on brand beauty blender, I do think that it is definitely worth it. Not to mention that if you take good enough care of it, you can probably get away with using it for a very long time.
In total, the Off brand beauty blender still works very well, it just takes a little bit longer in order to actually blend out the product. However, when it did blend it out it did a very good job too! The on brand just is a lot softer and more gentler on the face,as well as just working better in general! I definitely like/love that one a lot more, but for the price, the precision beauty blender is amazing, and if you work with it enough, the result will be amazing!
What's your favorite beauty blender, and would you spend the money on the on-brand one? Let me know in the comments below!
