Why you should be happy to go to school!

At this time of the year teenagers, and adults all around the planet start groaning about going back to school! Now trust me, I'm not here to say...or write, that I have never groaned and complained about going back to school, or just going to school in general, but I now try to stop myself before I complain. So here are some reasons why you should be happy and thankful for back to school season, going back to school , and going to school in general!
First of all if you can even read this post right now, then you are very very lucky, and privileged. There are many countries, where if you have internet access, then you are very rich and privileged. We take the internet and all of the opportunities it gives us for granted. We don't even realize how lucky we are until we really think about it!
All of us that are lucky, yes lucky that we get to go through back to school season. First of all many kids in the countries we live in, can't afford school supplies even if they can go to school. This makes it even harder for them to get the good education that they deserve! So anyone who can make a school supplies haul is very lucky and privileged!
Another obvious reason to be thankful to go to school is that we CAN go to school! There are way too many countries in which it is very difficult for children, and everyone in general to go to school. Also if you are reading this and you are a girl, then it would be even harder for you go to school because as you probably know, in many developing countries there girls are not allowed an education. Not to mention that there are many places around the globe in which schools are places that are attacked often, and most schools are attacked at one point or another!
In general if you can go to school, get school supplies, and read this post, then you are more privileged than many people on this great planet! So next time you wake up in the morning super early, and start complaining about the test, or final you have that day think about this post, and maybe you will stop yourself and become a little bit more grateful! Or next time you hear someone complaining about school tell them that they ARE lucky, and privileged, and show them this post!

Dual Action Moisturizer (Which is better? On Brand Or OffBrand? #2)(Blogmas 2016 #4)

A post that I am very proud of, and that many of you wonderful readers really seemed to enjoy, was my Which Is Better? On Brand, or Off Brand Beauty Blender Edition . I decided to make it a little series because I realize that I love a good dupe, and I want you to join in my journey to great dupes! So welcome to another On-Brand or Off-Brand post!        I think every person can agree that moisturizer is something that is a necessity in a skincare routine, especially in this upcoming winter season! I know in the winter I get very dry skin, and I know that moisturizer can get quite expensive, so I thought I would try out a store brand moisturizer, and compare it to a Clean and Clear moisturizer that I already knew I loved.      These are the two moisturizers that I will be comparing in this post! The clean and clear advantage dual action moisturizer (I know this one is slightly different but I have used both!), and the Walmart...

Life Is Happening RIGHT NOW

One thing that I have really discovered about myself within the past year is that I am way too focused on the future. I often find myself planning my future down to the last detail, and daydreaming.               But let me tell you something. This does not get you anywhere. I realized that I was legitimately spending my life just thinking about a life I dreamed of and planning my future in my mind. However, I soon came to realize that life is happening right now. I am living a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing life now, and if I keep daydreaming excessively I will be living more in my fantasy than in my reality. Though this may sound great, reality is truly wonderful.                I soon began to realize, 'oh dang, I must stop daydreaming'. So that is what I did. I prayed, and I worked hard to stop my daydreaming tendencies. Now I have severely cut down the amount of t...

How I Have Deepened My Faith

A few months ago God truly found me. I knew I wanted to start a relationship with God and with Jesus, but I did not how to begin this faithful journey in my life. However, here I am a few months later and I feel more spiritual than ever. I know I still have a lot to learn, but you always do when it comes to Christ. Here are my tips for starting a relationship with Christ. 1. Pray This is so simple ,but so true. I pray so much. I pray every morning when I wake up to thank God for a safe night. I pray when I am aware I have sinned. I pray before I, or my family eats. I pray before I go to bed. I pray a lot in between. Praying does not have to be a set prayer, you can legitimately just talk to God. It takes a little bit of getting used to, but you get the hang of it as you practice. Remember God knows that you are new to this, and he knows that you are trying and he will help you to learn to pray better. Remember, do not just pray for things, pr...
