Adding A Little Light Into A Dark World

The world can be a dark place. Society in general dwells way too much on the negative, so even just having one person add a little bit of positive into society can make a huge difference. Therefore I will use every single ounce of power that I have to try and convince others to spread positivity, Christianity, and happiness in the world. The best place for me to do this to complete strangers is here on this blog.
I hope that after reading this post that you feel inspired to go out there and make someone smile today because one smile can send off a huge chain reaction of happiness and positivity. So I urge you, go out there and just make one person you do not know smile.  Here are a few ways that I like to make people smile, and I hope you try them as well!

1. Compliment Somebody This is so simple, but so under used. Now you can compliment a friend, but to make the optimal difference is to compliment a stranger. When I am in a public bathroom, or at a store I just like to compliment somebody randomly. Whether on their shoes, nails, hair, it doesn't matter just make someone smile. It can't hurt and it can completely make someone's day.

2. DM some people I have been doing this recently and it is just so nice. I will just DM someone random on twitter a sweet little note. Although I do not get to see their reaction, I like to think that it brightens their day a little bit. I know that when I get DMed, especially by a random stranger, it makes my day.

3. Share This Post gotta get that promo lol. But seriously, by spreading this message we can start a chain reaction of happiness and positivity.

4. Set a daily goal I find that if you set a goal of the amount of people you want to compliment in one day, it makes it a lot easier, and a lot more satisfying when you do compliment someone. I like to say 3 people a day, and it is great because I know that it will make three people real happy.

5. SMILE I cannot even begin to say how much a smile can change a day. I like to smile while walking alone in the hallways at school and just smile at people in the hallway. Now I am not saying that this is for everyone, but I know that it brightens my mood, and hopefully others as well.

6. Keep the negativity inside Please. If you are having negative thoughts about something keep it inside because when you spread that negativity it will go down the chain, and it takes 5 happy things to get rid of 1 negative thing for a lot of people. There is no need to bring someone down. For example, I had a friend who was really excited about something, but my other friend had a negative opinion on what the friend was excited about and told her, and it just made my friend go from happy and excited to sad and angry.

So go out there and spread positivity.

Favorite Summer To Fall Transition Piece

So unfortunately it is officially Fall! Summer is over yet I am still transitioning clothing wise! So todays post will be about my favorite transition piece from Summer to Fall! The favorite thing of mine for the Summer to Fall season is the vans style shoe pictured above! I absolutely love vans style shoes just because they can be dressed up and down and they also come in many different colors and patterns! I may or may not own 4 pairs of vans style shoes! However my current favorite are these white lace patternes shoes! The detailing on this pair of shoes is absolutely amazing! They have such a nice look to them that is so much better than just plain white! Not to mention they are easy to clean! Trust me I cannot be trusted with anything white! These are perfect because theydo have a summery feel since they are lighter toned, however they also can be worn with leggings and pants to get more cozy! My absolute favorite part of these shoes though is probably the fact that you can litter...

Dual Action Moisturizer (Which is better? On Brand Or OffBrand? #2)(Blogmas 2016 #4)

A post that I am very proud of, and that many of you wonderful readers really seemed to enjoy, was my Which Is Better? On Brand, or Off Brand Beauty Blender Edition . I decided to make it a little series because I realize that I love a good dupe, and I want you to join in my journey to great dupes! So welcome to another On-Brand or Off-Brand post!        I think every person can agree that moisturizer is something that is a necessity in a skincare routine, especially in this upcoming winter season! I know in the winter I get very dry skin, and I know that moisturizer can get quite expensive, so I thought I would try out a store brand moisturizer, and compare it to a Clean and Clear moisturizer that I already knew I loved.      These are the two moisturizers that I will be comparing in this post! The clean and clear advantage dual action moisturizer (I know this one is slightly different but I have used both!), and the Walmart...

What I Have Been Up To In The Past Few Months!

Hello all! So I have been somewhat distant on this blog for the past few months! I have done a lot of religious posts that I absolutely love writing, but I realized that I have been a little distant when it came to talking about other stuff, and what I have been up to! So now I am just going to simply just talk a little bit about what I have been up to for the past few months!           So if you did not read my  2017 New Years Resolution Post  then you will not be aware that I am working hard at learning italian. I love learning new languages, and I have a goal of being trilingual by the time I am 25, and I want to do this with english, spanish, and italian. I take spanish at my school, so I am learning italian at home and I love it so much! It is really difficult to learn a language by yourself though when you do not have the cultural immersion, especially where I am in a primarily english speaking country, ...
