Life Is Happening RIGHT NOW

One thing that I have really discovered about myself within the past year is that I am way too focused on the future. I often find myself planning my future down to the last detail, and daydreaming.
But let me tell you something. This does not get you anywhere. I realized that I was legitimately spending my life just thinking about a life I dreamed of and planning my future in my mind. However, I soon came to realize that life is happening right now. I am living a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing life now, and if I keep daydreaming excessively I will be living more in my fantasy than in my reality. Though this may sound great, reality is truly wonderful.
I soon began to realize, 'oh dang, I must stop daydreaming'. So that is what I did. I prayed, and I worked hard to stop my daydreaming tendencies. Now I have severely cut down the amount of time I spend daydreaming. Sure, I still do daydream from time to time, but I realize now that life is beautiful right now, and that I really need to appreciate this, and live my life in the moment more.
If you relate to this post, and realize that you might be daydreaming excessively, here are some tips to appreciate life right now, and to love the life you have right now.

Tip #1 Stop And Look Around
In the morning when I am on the bus, I typically find myself daydreaming because, I mean hey, I am just on a bus. However, when you stop and look out the window at all of the trees, or people, or buildings, or whatever the hey is around you, it is amazing. Every little thing on this earth is amazing. Just think about how much time it took to build that building, or how beautiful that tree is, or that every single person on that bus has a story to their life that you may not know. It is absolutely amazing.

Tip #2 Learn About The Things And People Around You
Every person that is living is living a blessing to be on this earth. Take the time to talk to a new person, or learn more about someone that you know. You will soon realize that we are all who we are based off of the experiences God has granted us. We all have out own unique traits, experiences, dreams, and stories. It is truly amazing.

Tip #3 Realize That Everything You Do Is A Blessing
Although it may seem boring to be at school, or work, or wherever, it is a blessing. You are getting to experience this thing for a reason. If you are doing this one thing, it will propel you to something in the future. Even if you realize that you do not like your job, you were blessed with this job, and the job will give you the realization to never have a job like this again. Therefore, even this is a blessing. Everything happens for a reason. Think of one event that didn't seem positive in your life at the time it occurred. Now think of how this affected you as a person, it changed you. Even if it changed you for the worse it changed you, and now you can realize this and change it. Everything happens for a reason.

I hope this random little post inspired you to live in the moment.

Love,
Elizabeth

Favorite Summer To Fall Transition Piece

So unfortunately it is officially Fall! Summer is over yet I am still transitioning clothing wise! So todays post will be about my favorite transition piece from Summer to Fall! The favorite thing of mine for the Summer to Fall season is the vans style shoe pictured above! I absolutely love vans style shoes just because they can be dressed up and down and they also come in many different colors and patterns! I may or may not own 4 pairs of vans style shoes! However my current favorite are these white lace patternes shoes! The detailing on this pair of shoes is absolutely amazing! They have such a nice look to them that is so much better than just plain white! Not to mention they are easy to clean! Trust me I cannot be trusted with anything white! These are perfect because theydo have a summery feel since they are lighter toned, however they also can be worn with leggings and pants to get more cozy! My absolute favorite part of these shoes though is probably the fact that you can litter...

Dual Action Moisturizer (Which is better? On Brand Or OffBrand? #2)(Blogmas 2016 #4)

A post that I am very proud of, and that many of you wonderful readers really seemed to enjoy, was my Which Is Better? On Brand, or Off Brand Beauty Blender Edition . I decided to make it a little series because I realize that I love a good dupe, and I want you to join in my journey to great dupes! So welcome to another On-Brand or Off-Brand post!        I think every person can agree that moisturizer is something that is a necessity in a skincare routine, especially in this upcoming winter season! I know in the winter I get very dry skin, and I know that moisturizer can get quite expensive, so I thought I would try out a store brand moisturizer, and compare it to a Clean and Clear moisturizer that I already knew I loved.      These are the two moisturizers that I will be comparing in this post! The clean and clear advantage dual action moisturizer (I know this one is slightly different but I have used both!), and the Walmart...

What I Have Been Up To In The Past Few Months!

Hello all! So I have been somewhat distant on this blog for the past few months! I have done a lot of religious posts that I absolutely love writing, but I realized that I have been a little distant when it came to talking about other stuff, and what I have been up to! So now I am just going to simply just talk a little bit about what I have been up to for the past few months!           So if you did not read my  2017 New Years Resolution Post  then you will not be aware that I am working hard at learning italian. I love learning new languages, and I have a goal of being trilingual by the time I am 25, and I want to do this with english, spanish, and italian. I take spanish at my school, so I am learning italian at home and I love it so much! It is really difficult to learn a language by yourself though when you do not have the cultural immersion, especially where I am in a primarily english speaking country, ...
