JOURNEYING INTO JOURNALING

I have alllllwaaaaayyyyyysss wanted to journal regularly. I always start writing a journal really being determined, write in it every single day for 2 weeks, and then I just stop. This has happened  A LOT within my life, but I recently became motivated once again to start journaling, so I thought why not share it with my blog readers, so they can keep me motivated to continue journaling.
Journaling comes with many benefits, and whenever I journal I feel as though I am truly relaxed and there is something about writing my thoughts down that helps me to get to know myself better. I also have heard that they make you happier, and healthier. Therefore, why would you not want to journal. However, I knew that I wouldn't be motivated to journal unless I got a really aesthetically pleasing journal, so I dropped $10 on a journal. Yup that is right a whole Hamilton on a journal. However, it was worth it and I got an instagram post out of it. It is black and white marble, hard covered, and it has really thick pages which I love. Make sure to go follow me on instagram and leave your instagram link in the comments because I really want to follow some new pages.

So it has been about 3 weeks since I got my journal and I have kept up with it pretty well. I feel as though I have grown a lot spiritually through writing down my thoughts and my activities. It has been a fun time, and I am determined to keep it going. I personally really wanted to start my journal this year because it is my last year of being a non-adult, my last year living at home, and my last year of high school. This year will be filled with a lot of fun, and stressful activities, so I hope that by keeping this journal I will be able to manage the stress, and record the excitement.
I will make sure to keep all of you updated on how the journaling process goes, so stay tuned and make sure to follow me on this blog, google +, instagram, bloglovin', and twitter.

Dual Action Moisturizer (Which is better? On Brand Or OffBrand? #2)(Blogmas 2016 #4)

A post that I am very proud of, and that many of you wonderful readers really seemed to enjoy, was my Which Is Better? On Brand, or Off Brand Beauty Blender Edition . I decided to make it a little series because I realize that I love a good dupe, and I want you to join in my journey to great dupes! So welcome to another On-Brand or Off-Brand post!        I think every person can agree that moisturizer is something that is a necessity in a skincare routine, especially in this upcoming winter season! I know in the winter I get very dry skin, and I know that moisturizer can get quite expensive, so I thought I would try out a store brand moisturizer, and compare it to a Clean and Clear moisturizer that I already knew I loved.      These are the two moisturizers that I will be comparing in this post! The clean and clear advantage dual action moisturizer (I know this one is slightly different but I have used both!), and the Walmart...

Life Is Happening RIGHT NOW

One thing that I have really discovered about myself within the past year is that I am way too focused on the future. I often find myself planning my future down to the last detail, and daydreaming.               But let me tell you something. This does not get you anywhere. I realized that I was legitimately spending my life just thinking about a life I dreamed of and planning my future in my mind. However, I soon came to realize that life is happening right now. I am living a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing life now, and if I keep daydreaming excessively I will be living more in my fantasy than in my reality. Though this may sound great, reality is truly wonderful.                I soon began to realize, 'oh dang, I must stop daydreaming'. So that is what I did. I prayed, and I worked hard to stop my daydreaming tendencies. Now I have severely cut down the amount of t...

How I Have Deepened My Faith

A few months ago God truly found me. I knew I wanted to start a relationship with God and with Jesus, but I did not how to begin this faithful journey in my life. However, here I am a few months later and I feel more spiritual than ever. I know I still have a lot to learn, but you always do when it comes to Christ. Here are my tips for starting a relationship with Christ. 1. Pray This is so simple ,but so true. I pray so much. I pray every morning when I wake up to thank God for a safe night. I pray when I am aware I have sinned. I pray before I, or my family eats. I pray before I go to bed. I pray a lot in between. Praying does not have to be a set prayer, you can legitimately just talk to God. It takes a little bit of getting used to, but you get the hang of it as you practice. Remember God knows that you are new to this, and he knows that you are trying and he will help you to learn to pray better. Remember, do not just pray for things, pr...
