POSITIVITY PLANNER

Hello there! For my first non -resolution post of 2018, I thought I would stick with the theme of improving within 2018, and do a review of the Positivity Planner! For Christmas this year, my mom and dad purchased me a positivity planner that helps to plan out your 2018 year to be the most positive year possible. I am a sucker for any sort of journal, so I was very enthused when I received this gift. As you can see from the photo above, I also received a new Bible, and a ColourPop eyeshadow palette. However, today the post will solely be about the positivity planner.

The positivity planner is set up in different sections. Each month has a section even though it does not flat out say which month is which. It basically has two pages for each month, then a section for notes. Separating these months are pink sheets of paper with cute little positivity quotes on them, so here is a picture of one below.
Before the actually journal begin, there are two pieces of paper. One of the pieces of paper has a full page to write all of your resolutions for 2018 on it. This is a perfect placement for this as all of your weeks can be planned based off of these resolutions, and you will have a reminder of what your resolutions may be.
The second sheet of paper is below (low quality picture I apologize) and it has a sections for what you would love to do this year, what you are looking forward to this year, what you need to do this year, and your fitness goals for this year. I absolutely love this aspect of it, as it organizes all of your thoughts and ideas into categories that are most important to get done, and those that are not as necessary to get done.

A really awesome aspect of this journal is that at the bottom and the top of every page there are quotes that are extremely positive and uplifting!

At the top of every new page it says this week in which you write down the dates of that week in the planner. It then goes into the same categories of the year (what you would love to do, need to do, looking forward to, etc) , but for the week. I love this since you can put your overall goals into smaller sections to make them more manageable.

The next page has the reflection part of the journal. In this section you reflect on the week at the end of it. There is a section for what you accomplished, what you are grateful for, what you enjoyed, silver linings, and mindful moments. I love this because it really makes you appreciate every little thing that happened in your week, whether good or bad.

At the end of every month there are a few pages where you can write notes about anything that occurred within the past months, and it is very open ended. I love this because it truly allows you to reflect in any manner that you want.

All in all, the positivity planner is fantastic, I am super thankful to have received it as a gift, and I definitely recommend this planner to anyone who wants to grow and become more thankful, as I feel like every single person needs to continuously grow in there thankfulness.

Dual Action Moisturizer (Which is better? On Brand Or OffBrand? #2)(Blogmas 2016 #4)

A post that I am very proud of, and that many of you wonderful readers really seemed to enjoy, was my Which Is Better? On Brand, or Off Brand Beauty Blender Edition . I decided to make it a little series because I realize that I love a good dupe, and I want you to join in my journey to great dupes! So welcome to another On-Brand or Off-Brand post!        I think every person can agree that moisturizer is something that is a necessity in a skincare routine, especially in this upcoming winter season! I know in the winter I get very dry skin, and I know that moisturizer can get quite expensive, so I thought I would try out a store brand moisturizer, and compare it to a Clean and Clear moisturizer that I already knew I loved.      These are the two moisturizers that I will be comparing in this post! The clean and clear advantage dual action moisturizer (I know this one is slightly different but I have used both!), and the Walmart...

Life Is Happening RIGHT NOW

One thing that I have really discovered about myself within the past year is that I am way too focused on the future. I often find myself planning my future down to the last detail, and daydreaming.               But let me tell you something. This does not get you anywhere. I realized that I was legitimately spending my life just thinking about a life I dreamed of and planning my future in my mind. However, I soon came to realize that life is happening right now. I am living a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing life now, and if I keep daydreaming excessively I will be living more in my fantasy than in my reality. Though this may sound great, reality is truly wonderful.                I soon began to realize, 'oh dang, I must stop daydreaming'. So that is what I did. I prayed, and I worked hard to stop my daydreaming tendencies. Now I have severely cut down the amount of t...

How I Have Deepened My Faith

A few months ago God truly found me. I knew I wanted to start a relationship with God and with Jesus, but I did not how to begin this faithful journey in my life. However, here I am a few months later and I feel more spiritual than ever. I know I still have a lot to learn, but you always do when it comes to Christ. Here are my tips for starting a relationship with Christ. 1. Pray This is so simple ,but so true. I pray so much. I pray every morning when I wake up to thank God for a safe night. I pray when I am aware I have sinned. I pray before I, or my family eats. I pray before I go to bed. I pray a lot in between. Praying does not have to be a set prayer, you can legitimately just talk to God. It takes a little bit of getting used to, but you get the hang of it as you practice. Remember God knows that you are new to this, and he knows that you are trying and he will help you to learn to pray better. Remember, do not just pray for things, pr...
