Let's start with the packaging. As you can see from the photo above the eyeliner has pretty basic packaging. It is very sleek and thin, it would be very easy to travel with or just throw in your purse!
Now onto the actual product. The eyeliner is a felt tip marker style eyeliner. It is very easy to get the look that you want with this eyeliner whether you want a thick or a thin line it works for both. Below is a photo of a thin and a thick swatch of the product.
As you can see it makes a variety of lines. Another thing I noticed was how fast it dried! It dried almost immediately after I put it on my eyes! I was very impressed!
I have to admit I have never been able to do an amazing winged eyeliner but using this product has definitely helped my skills a lot! This would be perfect for anyone who is beginning to use eyeliner and wants something easy to learn with! below is a photo of my atempt at a winged eyeliner using this product! (warning: my cat eye skills are not very good!)
As you can see, even though it is not perfect, the line does look pretty even!
Now onto the waterproof aspect! During the summer I swim almost every single day of the week! Normally I don't wear makeup when I am going to go swimming but for the sake of this post I did so. However, me being forgetful I forgot to take a photo of the eyeliner after I swam so you are going to have to trust me on this one! After around 2 hours of swimming I got out and checked my eyeliner. All in all I was very impressed the eyeliner didn't smudge at all it was completely in place! However, the once deep black now had faded to a less pigmented shade. Don't get me wrong though I am still very impressed that it didn't smudge even a little bit!
Overall I would rate this product an 9 out of 10! The quality was amazing and it did everything it said it could do! I definitely recommend this product especially for eyeliner newbies!

I've been wondering how waterproof this actually was. I think I may give it a shot. Have you tried Kat Von D's Tattoo liner? If so, how do you think it compares to Stila's in reference to application?
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading! Unfortunately I haven't tried the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner ,but I have heard that they are pretty similar! I would definitely recommend purchasing it!
