Today we have my blog's first make-up tutorial! Before getting into the tutorial I just want to apologize for the lighting of these photos! So this look is perfect for the summer! It has a beautiful gold lid with a little pop of blue under the eye for a little spark! So let's get started!
First we are going to start by priming the lid to make sure that our shadows stick and stay! You don't have to use some expensive primer though, you can just use your normal concealer! This makes sure that your shadows won't crease during the day.
Now it is time to bring in the shadows! I'm using the gold color from the Maybelline The Nudes palette. It isn't a very pigmented color so it is good for this neutral look. This shadow is just going to go all over the lid ,but make sure to focus it on the inner 2/3 of the eye.
Now I am taking the shimmery light brown color from the Maybelline Nudes Palette on a fluffy crease brush. I am putting this on the outer corner of my eye and into the outer third of my crease. Make sure to blend it out so there is no harsh lines.
Now for the final and optional step to add the pop of color to the look. I am just using this blue color from a Beauty By The Book palette on an angled brush to put on my lower lash line. Then all you have to do is add your favorite mascara (s) to put on your upper and lower lashes!
