If you are like me, then during the summer you normally get very very lazy! During the summer I always plan on spending so much time doing these things that I love, but then I just end up sleeping until 10:30 am and watching an episode or two of pretty little liars after that, so by the time I actually get up and out of bed half of the day is gone! However, after having my first two weeks of summer be like this, I have/am ready to have this change, and this is how I am doing it!
Tip #1: Still Set An Alarm
This tip is extremely helpful! If you are like me and somehow always manage to sleep in until 11am everyday, then this will help! I set my alarm at like 9am and this allows for me to sleep later than normal but still have a good amount of time during the day to do things! I love this tip because it allows me to spend sometime in the morning writing on this blog, and editing and writing posts!
Tip #2: Know What You Want To Get Done That Day
This tip helps make me a lot more productive! When I know that there is something that I want to do that day, I tend to get away from doing all of my lazy things in order to do this! It allows me to be more productive in a day, and get something done, that I might not have gotten done if I didn't have this specifically set in my mind! It also makes you feel a lot better and have a sense of accomplishment when you get this one thing done!
Tip #3: Make A Weekly, and Full Summer Goal
This tip will make you want to spend more time doing these things that your goals include! It will also help you feel more accomplished when you finish your goal so that way you get something positive out of it! Feel free, and I recommend that you add more goals once you finish your goals so that way you are being busy and productive!
Tip #4: Put Your Computer, and Phone Across The Room From You
This tip is perfect for those netflix/snapchat addicted folks who can't seem to put their phone away/down when trying to be productive! I love this because you can't see your phone's notifications going off when it's across the room so this helps a lot! You can use your computer if that does have to do with your goal though!
Tip #5: Do The Stuff You Like Doing Outside Instead Of Inside
This just makes everything more nice and peaceful! You will feel so much more refreshed and motivated if you just get outside, and plus it invites a lot of creative, and inspiring energy!
