If you didn't know already, I love horror movies! I watch them year round, and during Halloween time, it is all I ever watch. They are just so creative, and interesting to me! So as a self-proclaimed horror film expert, here are 7 Horror Movies You NEED to watch this October!
1. The Conjuring
Best.horror.movie.ever. I absolutely love supernatural movies, and this is one of the best. I love it because I believe in ghosts, and all of that stuff, and it's based on a true story so it is really exciting to me! It is absolutely terrifying, and it is rated R solely because of terror, nothing else. It is super scary. I do not recommend watching alone!
2. The Conjuring 2
This is legitametely just as good as the first one! There are very few instances where I like the second movie in a series better than the first, and this is one of them. I love this movie so much! It is also based on a true story, and honestly it is great, and terrifying. At the end it shows an actual piece of evidence from the actual case, which made me nerd out completely.
3. Friday The 13th
Just a great classic. You must watch this every year, everyone should. It is just a great classic.
4. Halloween (Original and Rob Zombie Version)
Don't slap me,but I like the Rob Zombie version better! You have to watch the original because, well, it's an original, and classic. However, the Rob Zombie version is much more scary and suspenseful, as well as it having more background information on Michael Meyers.
5. Texas Chainsaw Massacre
An amazing classic. This movie freaks me out so much! It just gives me the chills. It is your classic, 'oh no there is someone with an ax chasing us, lets hide behind a car where he can clearly see us', kind of movie. But it is amazing.
6. Annabelle
This is about a doll featured in the Conjuring and it is also terrifying. This is my least favorite of the 3 conjuringish movies, but it is still great. The beginning and end is just brilliant. Also it is based on a true story, however, it doesn't talk about Ed or Lorraine Warren within the movie.
7. Insidious
This is a solid movie. It is so creative for a supernatural/horror film. It isn't based on a true story, but the story is amazing. It is just so unique, and terrifying! You have to watch it!
