Moving Forward

DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT MEAN TO OFFEND ANYBODY AT ALL WITH THIS POST IF YOU WANT TO PROTEST I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST IT THIS IS STRICTLY MY OPINION AND I RESPECT EVERY SINGLE PERSONS OPINION AND I THINK IT IS FINE TO PROTEST I JUST DO NOT BELIEVE IT WILL SOLVE OUR PROBLEMS

Yes, Donald Trump did become the president elect for the United States of America. In January of 2017, Donald Trump will become our next president. If you read either of my two political posts before the election, then it is clear to you that I did not want Donald Trump to win. But he did. Now there is nothing I can do about that. I know there are protests, but I believe that fighting the hate that Trump gives, with hate towards him will only make the problem worse. I understand people are upset, and yes, I was/am one of those people. However, I think that we need to come together as American citizens, now more than ever, and unify ourselves. Instead of automatically assuming the worst about his future presidency, lets give him a shot. I won't agree with most things he says, or does, but if he keeps us safe, then that is great. As much as I didn't want him to win, I now hope that he is a great president. Not because I like him, or his policies ,but rather because he is representing America, and he will be our president for the next 4 years.
Our country is divided, right down the middle. This is only going to make the problem worse. We need to accept what has happened, tell others to do so as well, and not necessarily 'support', but not be mad or angry that Trump will be our next president. Anger, and hatred leads nowhere. If Trump does end up doing something that we, as Americans, do not believe in, or want to happen, do something about it, don't just protest him being elected as president because he hasn't done anything, as president, yet, so give him a chance. As awful as he might have been in the campaign, and things he has done in the past, maybe he won't be like that as a president. I am a true believer that people can change, and I hope that his attitudes and his way of communication does when he becomes president. I still think it is absolutely awful what he has done in the past, and I can't respect the way that he ran his campaign, but he was elected and now we look forwards, and not backwards. Even though he did not win popular vote, he still only had about 200,000 less votes than Hillary Clinton did, which isn't a lot in the grand scheme of things, so clearly a lot of people wanted him to be elected.
No matter what our political party is, no matter what opinions or morals we have, we have to work together now. We are all part of one amazing country, and the way we keep this country amazing is to work together, as one, not to divide. We are so lucky to live in a country where we do get to vote for our president, and where we get to have all of the rights we do, so don't throw all of that peace ]\away just because you aren't happy with the turnout. I am not happy with the turnout, but now I move forward. Even though Clinton isn't president, her campaign slogan is still true, we ARE stronger together. And if you supported Clinton in this election, and you are making these divides worse because you aren't happy with the outcome, then you aren't following your own candidates slogan, and you need to. Right now, more than ever, we need to be stronger together.
If only millenials voted then Hillary would have won in almost every single state, and I am not saying that millenials are the ones that are 'right',but it shows that moving forward in the future that the next generation doesn't support the hate that was spewed from Trumps mouth during much of this campaign. So this should give you hope, and make you feel great about the future.

Dual Action Moisturizer (Which is better? On Brand Or OffBrand? #2)(Blogmas 2016 #4)

A post that I am very proud of, and that many of you wonderful readers really seemed to enjoy, was my Which Is Better? On Brand, or Off Brand Beauty Blender Edition . I decided to make it a little series because I realize that I love a good dupe, and I want you to join in my journey to great dupes! So welcome to another On-Brand or Off-Brand post!        I think every person can agree that moisturizer is something that is a necessity in a skincare routine, especially in this upcoming winter season! I know in the winter I get very dry skin, and I know that moisturizer can get quite expensive, so I thought I would try out a store brand moisturizer, and compare it to a Clean and Clear moisturizer that I already knew I loved.      These are the two moisturizers that I will be comparing in this post! The clean and clear advantage dual action moisturizer (I know this one is slightly different but I have used both!), and the Walmart...

Life Is Happening RIGHT NOW

One thing that I have really discovered about myself within the past year is that I am way too focused on the future. I often find myself planning my future down to the last detail, and daydreaming.               But let me tell you something. This does not get you anywhere. I realized that I was legitimately spending my life just thinking about a life I dreamed of and planning my future in my mind. However, I soon came to realize that life is happening right now. I am living a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing life now, and if I keep daydreaming excessively I will be living more in my fantasy than in my reality. Though this may sound great, reality is truly wonderful.                I soon began to realize, 'oh dang, I must stop daydreaming'. So that is what I did. I prayed, and I worked hard to stop my daydreaming tendencies. Now I have severely cut down the amount of t...

How I Have Deepened My Faith

A few months ago God truly found me. I knew I wanted to start a relationship with God and with Jesus, but I did not how to begin this faithful journey in my life. However, here I am a few months later and I feel more spiritual than ever. I know I still have a lot to learn, but you always do when it comes to Christ. Here are my tips for starting a relationship with Christ. 1. Pray This is so simple ,but so true. I pray so much. I pray every morning when I wake up to thank God for a safe night. I pray when I am aware I have sinned. I pray before I, or my family eats. I pray before I go to bed. I pray a lot in between. Praying does not have to be a set prayer, you can legitimately just talk to God. It takes a little bit of getting used to, but you get the hang of it as you practice. Remember God knows that you are new to this, and he knows that you are trying and he will help you to learn to pray better. Remember, do not just pray for things, pr...
