Trust In God

So I have been writing a lot of posts that aren't too similar to my other posts on this blog. I promise you I will have more of my 'usual' posts soon, but I wanted to write this one for me.
I recently started thinking about my religion more. Growing up I went to Sunday school until I was in like 4thish grade (so like 9 years old?). I got my first communion, but never got confirmed. We didn't go to church every Sunday like some families, and I went and only go once a year, on Christmas Eve. However, recently I started realizing that my religion was very important to me, and I wanted to learn more about it. I started reading a little bit of the bible every day (still do), and just learning more about it in general. I now pray every day, I read the bible everyday, and I truly do have a relationship with God. I can't even begin to describe how this has changed my life. I have literally had the best few months of my life since I truly found God. I feel happy, and content. I used to live my life in constant fear (more than the average person) ,but now I don't. Of course I still have a lot of fear, as most do, but I am not worrying about them constantly.
When things happen, and don't go how I want them to, obviously I am upset at first, but then I realize that it is God's will. For example, after Donald Trump was elected president, I was in utter fear. I automatically assumed that the worst will happen. However, I then prayed and realized that it was God's will. This happened for a reason, and I shouldn't question why God wanted that to happen. I have complete trust in him that he will keep me safe, and honestly that feeling of trust, and just safety, is the absolute best thing in the world.
If you are lost, in any way, shape, or form, I truly recommend trying to 'find' God. Whether you learn more about Catholicism, or Christianity in general, or you read the bible a little bit, and pray, you can find him, and find peace. I don't know how to describe the feeling once you do other than amazing. You won't regret it at all, I promise you that.

Dual Action Moisturizer (Which is better? On Brand Or OffBrand? #2)(Blogmas 2016 #4)

A post that I am very proud of, and that many of you wonderful readers really seemed to enjoy, was my Which Is Better? On Brand, or Off Brand Beauty Blender Edition . I decided to make it a little series because I realize that I love a good dupe, and I want you to join in my journey to great dupes! So welcome to another On-Brand or Off-Brand post!        I think every person can agree that moisturizer is something that is a necessity in a skincare routine, especially in this upcoming winter season! I know in the winter I get very dry skin, and I know that moisturizer can get quite expensive, so I thought I would try out a store brand moisturizer, and compare it to a Clean and Clear moisturizer that I already knew I loved.      These are the two moisturizers that I will be comparing in this post! The clean and clear advantage dual action moisturizer (I know this one is slightly different but I have used both!), and the Walmart...

Life Is Happening RIGHT NOW

One thing that I have really discovered about myself within the past year is that I am way too focused on the future. I often find myself planning my future down to the last detail, and daydreaming.               But let me tell you something. This does not get you anywhere. I realized that I was legitimately spending my life just thinking about a life I dreamed of and planning my future in my mind. However, I soon came to realize that life is happening right now. I am living a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing life now, and if I keep daydreaming excessively I will be living more in my fantasy than in my reality. Though this may sound great, reality is truly wonderful.                I soon began to realize, 'oh dang, I must stop daydreaming'. So that is what I did. I prayed, and I worked hard to stop my daydreaming tendencies. Now I have severely cut down the amount of t...

How I Have Deepened My Faith

A few months ago God truly found me. I knew I wanted to start a relationship with God and with Jesus, but I did not how to begin this faithful journey in my life. However, here I am a few months later and I feel more spiritual than ever. I know I still have a lot to learn, but you always do when it comes to Christ. Here are my tips for starting a relationship with Christ. 1. Pray This is so simple ,but so true. I pray so much. I pray every morning when I wake up to thank God for a safe night. I pray when I am aware I have sinned. I pray before I, or my family eats. I pray before I go to bed. I pray a lot in between. Praying does not have to be a set prayer, you can legitimately just talk to God. It takes a little bit of getting used to, but you get the hang of it as you practice. Remember God knows that you are new to this, and he knows that you are trying and he will help you to learn to pray better. Remember, do not just pray for things, pr...
