3 Uses For A Mason Jar (Blogmas 2016 #7)

Time for an environmentally friendly post! If you have received a mason jar, whether from a baby shower gift, or from some sort of food you ate, DO NOT THROW IT AWAY! You can use it for something else, so you won't need to throw it into the recycling bin. Here I am going to show you 3 uses for your mason jar!

Use #1: Fill it with cotton balls/cotton swabs

Here I have the use that I ended up actually using! I filled my mason jar with these makeup applicating cotton swabs. I use them a lot to remove makeup smudges, so I filled the mason jar with these swabs and put them on my vanity where they are in easy reach when I am doing my makeup! It looks so much prettier than having the swabs in just a plastic bag!

Use #2: Fill It With Candies
This is perfect for a home decor! You can fill the mason jar with Hershey Kisses, and put them in your kitchen for when guests come. Or you can just put it in your room for late-night snacking! Once again this makes the Kisses look a lot cooler than just being in a plastic bag!

Use #3: Re-Gift It
This is a really easy, and simple gift idea! You can fill the mason jar with anything from candy, to small makeup products like chapstick! I love this idea for when you have to give small gifts to many people because it is very versatile, and it looks really cute when it is done!

Dual Action Moisturizer (Which is better? On Brand Or OffBrand? #2)(Blogmas 2016 #4)

A post that I am very proud of, and that many of you wonderful readers really seemed to enjoy, was my Which Is Better? On Brand, or Off Brand Beauty Blender Edition . I decided to make it a little series because I realize that I love a good dupe, and I want you to join in my journey to great dupes! So welcome to another On-Brand or Off-Brand post!        I think every person can agree that moisturizer is something that is a necessity in a skincare routine, especially in this upcoming winter season! I know in the winter I get very dry skin, and I know that moisturizer can get quite expensive, so I thought I would try out a store brand moisturizer, and compare it to a Clean and Clear moisturizer that I already knew I loved.      These are the two moisturizers that I will be comparing in this post! The clean and clear advantage dual action moisturizer (I know this one is slightly different but I have used both!), and the Walmart...

Life Is Happening RIGHT NOW

One thing that I have really discovered about myself within the past year is that I am way too focused on the future. I often find myself planning my future down to the last detail, and daydreaming.               But let me tell you something. This does not get you anywhere. I realized that I was legitimately spending my life just thinking about a life I dreamed of and planning my future in my mind. However, I soon came to realize that life is happening right now. I am living a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing life now, and if I keep daydreaming excessively I will be living more in my fantasy than in my reality. Though this may sound great, reality is truly wonderful.                I soon began to realize, 'oh dang, I must stop daydreaming'. So that is what I did. I prayed, and I worked hard to stop my daydreaming tendencies. Now I have severely cut down the amount of t...

How I Have Deepened My Faith

A few months ago God truly found me. I knew I wanted to start a relationship with God and with Jesus, but I did not how to begin this faithful journey in my life. However, here I am a few months later and I feel more spiritual than ever. I know I still have a lot to learn, but you always do when it comes to Christ. Here are my tips for starting a relationship with Christ. 1. Pray This is so simple ,but so true. I pray so much. I pray every morning when I wake up to thank God for a safe night. I pray when I am aware I have sinned. I pray before I, or my family eats. I pray before I go to bed. I pray a lot in between. Praying does not have to be a set prayer, you can legitimately just talk to God. It takes a little bit of getting used to, but you get the hang of it as you practice. Remember God knows that you are new to this, and he knows that you are trying and he will help you to learn to pray better. Remember, do not just pray for things, pr...
