Christmas Makeup Wishlist (Blogmas 2016 #8)

Disclaimer: I obviously do not expect to get all of these things for Christmas and I do not want to either. Christmas is not about presents, it is about Jesus's birth, I just thought I would write some makeup items that I would love to own.

I love makeup, but I am young and have no job to pay for a lot of makeup, so I normally ask for the makeup products that I want, for Christmas. Here are a few that I love! (didn't actually ask for these from anyone lol).

1. Urban Decay Primer Potion, I have a sample and dang, this stuff is so amazing. I have such oily eyelids, and I really need a good primer so there isn't a black line in my crease at the end of the day.

2. Hoola Bronzer I just have a very strong desire to try this product because so many people seem to love it so I want to see if I will too!

3.Urban Decay Setting Spray, I just want to see if this truly makes a difference, and I have faith that it will.

4. Makeup Forever HD Foundation, I have one foundation, it isn't too hot either, so this would be a nice change because I never use foundation so I would like to treat myself when I do.

5. Hourglass Highlighter, let's be real, what girl doesn't want this thang.

6. Anastasia Beverly Hills Self-Made Eye Shadow Palette, I just love the color range on this palette, and I think it would be great for a good pop of color once in a while.

7. Nars Concealer, I just have heard amazing things about this product, and I want to try it really bad.

8. Any Brow Wax because your girl has some untamed brows.

9. Lorac Pro Mascara, I saw the picture of the before and after with this mascara, and dang if it actually does that, then I need this in my life.

10. A Foundation Brush,  I do not have one, and I want to learn how to use one for when I do wear foundation, just to help learn more about makeup applying.

Dual Action Moisturizer (Which is better? On Brand Or OffBrand? #2)(Blogmas 2016 #4)

A post that I am very proud of, and that many of you wonderful readers really seemed to enjoy, was my Which Is Better? On Brand, or Off Brand Beauty Blender Edition . I decided to make it a little series because I realize that I love a good dupe, and I want you to join in my journey to great dupes! So welcome to another On-Brand or Off-Brand post!        I think every person can agree that moisturizer is something that is a necessity in a skincare routine, especially in this upcoming winter season! I know in the winter I get very dry skin, and I know that moisturizer can get quite expensive, so I thought I would try out a store brand moisturizer, and compare it to a Clean and Clear moisturizer that I already knew I loved.      These are the two moisturizers that I will be comparing in this post! The clean and clear advantage dual action moisturizer (I know this one is slightly different but I have used both!), and the Walmart...

Life Is Happening RIGHT NOW

One thing that I have really discovered about myself within the past year is that I am way too focused on the future. I often find myself planning my future down to the last detail, and daydreaming.               But let me tell you something. This does not get you anywhere. I realized that I was legitimately spending my life just thinking about a life I dreamed of and planning my future in my mind. However, I soon came to realize that life is happening right now. I am living a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing life now, and if I keep daydreaming excessively I will be living more in my fantasy than in my reality. Though this may sound great, reality is truly wonderful.                I soon began to realize, 'oh dang, I must stop daydreaming'. So that is what I did. I prayed, and I worked hard to stop my daydreaming tendencies. Now I have severely cut down the amount of t...

How I Have Deepened My Faith

A few months ago God truly found me. I knew I wanted to start a relationship with God and with Jesus, but I did not how to begin this faithful journey in my life. However, here I am a few months later and I feel more spiritual than ever. I know I still have a lot to learn, but you always do when it comes to Christ. Here are my tips for starting a relationship with Christ. 1. Pray This is so simple ,but so true. I pray so much. I pray every morning when I wake up to thank God for a safe night. I pray when I am aware I have sinned. I pray before I, or my family eats. I pray before I go to bed. I pray a lot in between. Praying does not have to be a set prayer, you can legitimately just talk to God. It takes a little bit of getting used to, but you get the hang of it as you practice. Remember God knows that you are new to this, and he knows that you are trying and he will help you to learn to pray better. Remember, do not just pray for things, pr...
