Five Favorite Things About Christmas

Here are five things I love about Christmas in no particular order:

1. Celebrating The Birth of Our Lord and Savior. I love this time of year because people are just so joyous, and we get to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. We get to celebrate the birth of the person who dies so we could all have eternal life, and celebrating the birthday of this person is amazing, and so great to be able to do!

2. Decorations I LOVE CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS! My house is insanely decorated and has decorations in basically every single room! We take Christmas very seriously! I love driving around at night and seeing all of the lights and going to charity light shows it is just amazing!

3. Being Joyful and seeing others be Joyful This is probably the best feeling ever! Being joyful is great and caring for others, but seeing others be joyful makes me joyful too! Spread joy this holiday season! Here are a few ways to spread kindness, help your community, and be positive this holiday season!

4.The Weather. Where I live the weather during Christmas season is great. It starts to get cold, and even snows sometimes. It is very cozy when you have a fire going in your house, and you can wrap up in a warm blanket, and comfy pajamas. I love this weather because it is just so cozy, and it is the perfect time to cuddle up and watch some Christmas movies! Would recommend!

5.  Spending Time With Family and Friends I love my family and my friends and during this season I get to see them a lot more than I do when it isn't Christmastime and I just love spending this joyful time of year with such amazong and loving people that I care about!

Dual Action Moisturizer (Which is better? On Brand Or OffBrand? #2)(Blogmas 2016 #4)

A post that I am very proud of, and that many of you wonderful readers really seemed to enjoy, was my Which Is Better? On Brand, or Off Brand Beauty Blender Edition . I decided to make it a little series because I realize that I love a good dupe, and I want you to join in my journey to great dupes! So welcome to another On-Brand or Off-Brand post!        I think every person can agree that moisturizer is something that is a necessity in a skincare routine, especially in this upcoming winter season! I know in the winter I get very dry skin, and I know that moisturizer can get quite expensive, so I thought I would try out a store brand moisturizer, and compare it to a Clean and Clear moisturizer that I already knew I loved.      These are the two moisturizers that I will be comparing in this post! The clean and clear advantage dual action moisturizer (I know this one is slightly different but I have used both!), and the Walmart...

Life Is Happening RIGHT NOW

One thing that I have really discovered about myself within the past year is that I am way too focused on the future. I often find myself planning my future down to the last detail, and daydreaming.               But let me tell you something. This does not get you anywhere. I realized that I was legitimately spending my life just thinking about a life I dreamed of and planning my future in my mind. However, I soon came to realize that life is happening right now. I am living a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing life now, and if I keep daydreaming excessively I will be living more in my fantasy than in my reality. Though this may sound great, reality is truly wonderful.                I soon began to realize, 'oh dang, I must stop daydreaming'. So that is what I did. I prayed, and I worked hard to stop my daydreaming tendencies. Now I have severely cut down the amount of t...

How I Have Deepened My Faith

A few months ago God truly found me. I knew I wanted to start a relationship with God and with Jesus, but I did not how to begin this faithful journey in my life. However, here I am a few months later and I feel more spiritual than ever. I know I still have a lot to learn, but you always do when it comes to Christ. Here are my tips for starting a relationship with Christ. 1. Pray This is so simple ,but so true. I pray so much. I pray every morning when I wake up to thank God for a safe night. I pray when I am aware I have sinned. I pray before I, or my family eats. I pray before I go to bed. I pray a lot in between. Praying does not have to be a set prayer, you can legitimately just talk to God. It takes a little bit of getting used to, but you get the hang of it as you practice. Remember God knows that you are new to this, and he knows that you are trying and he will help you to learn to pray better. Remember, do not just pray for things, pr...
