I know that some of y'all reading this don't have a present for someone, and you really need a present, so I got your back. It is a personalized gift, so you can give somebody something worth remembering, that you actually worked on. It is a mug, decorated however you would like.
Materials:
- Mug (they sell some at the dollar tree)
-Black Sharpie (other colors look odd,but if you want go for it)
-An Oven
Step#1: Obtain said mug. The mug should be as cheap as possible because fancier ones tend to have a lot of glaze which can make it more difficult for the sharpie to stay put.
Step #2: Draw whatever you want on the mug. I recommend the name of the person you are giving it to, and anything they like, inside jokes, etc.
Step #3: Wait an hour or so for the design to fully settle. (Technically it isn't necessary, but you'd rather be safe than sorry)
Step #4: Heat that thang up. Bake the mug(s) in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees farenheit, or 176 2/3 Celsius
Step #5: Let it cool. Do this naturally because if you put it in the freezer/fridge after heating, it will crack.
Step #6: The design will stay, but it is recommended that it should be handwashed.
I got this idea from various forms, but some information came from PopSugar.
