Here is the Christmas Tag. I got the questions from this blog post so credit goes to them. Let me know if you do this post so I can read it. I did not get tagged in this ,but I am tagging EVERYBODY WHO READS THIS.
1. What is your favorite Christmas film?
Definitely The Polar Express or A Christmas Story, I love both of them sooooo much! They are so entertaining. A Christmas Story is more of a lighthearted comedy, and Polar Express is more 'serious', and deep.
2. Have you ever had a White Christmas?
Yes! Not every year, but I have white Christmases quite often. As of now, this year is a partially white Christmas, but hopefully more will fall soon.
3. Where do you usually spend your holiday?
At my house with my family! On Christmas eve we go to my aunts house, but on Christmas day we stay home, and relax.
4. What is your favorite Christmas song?
CAROL OF THE BELLS. It is sooooo pretty, and beautiful and has a great message. I just love it so much!
5. Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?
My sister and I each exchange a gift with one another on Christmas eve, after the party, but that is all.
6. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?
YES! Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen, BUT DO YOU RECAAAALLLL THE MOST FAMOUS REINDEER OF AAAAALLL RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER. I apologize, I break out into song quite often.
7. What holiday traditions are you looking forward to most this year?
We already did it, but I love decorating out large Christmas tree with my family, while listening to Winnie The Pooh Christmas CD, we have done it every year since my sister and I were little.
8. Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
Real, but at my ski house it is very fake.
9. What is your all-time favorite holiday food/sweet treat?
I love it all,but probably these Oreo balls that my mom just started making this year, but they are sooooo good.
10. Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?
It depends on the gift. If it is a creative and fun gift that I am giving, then giving. However, if it is something boring that I am giving then receiving. I love the element of surprise that comes with getting a gift.
11. What is the best Christmas gift you’ve ever received?
I love all of the Christmas gifts I have received. However, my favorite gift ever was probably when I received my Bratz clock. I don't remember receiving it specifically, but I had it forever, you could talk to it and it would tell you the time, date, turn on a nightlight, and tell you your fortune. It was great, and I had it until it broke and I was forced it out. But the best gift I have ever received is the love of my family, friends, and getting to see them, as well as the love of Jesus, and God.
12. What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?
Honestly, I love where I live, especially during the Christmas season. I wouldn't want to travel anywhere for Christmas, I love it where it is right now. It is more important to be with your family during Christmas than it is to be in a different place that isn't your hometown.
13. Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?
I used to be terrible, but now I either am a pro or do OK. Small boxes are ok ,but anything else is a gamble.
14. Most memorable Holiday moment?
Probably just every Christmas eve going to church, and then to my family party and seeing everybody. I love it. Also going to see A Christmas Story the Musical. And also sprinkling out reindeer dust, and leaving cookies for Santa, followed by my mom reading my sister, and I : Twas The Night Before Christmas.
15. Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?
I do, and I actually tend to stick to them. I wrote down mine for 2016 on a previous blog post, and stay tuned for an update post, on if I met the goals/kept all of the resolutions.
16. What makes the holidays special for you?
Getting to see my family and spending a lot of time with them, all together. We are all very busy and there are a lot of us, so getting to have the whole family together one night a year is beautiful. Also getting to celebrate the birth of our lord and savior with them is just so magical, and it spreads joy throughout my hear. The Christmas season in general just makes me so joyful to see people joinging together and putting away their differences for the greater good.
