Why I Am Catholic! (Blogmas 2016 Day 12)

Christmas is a religious holiday and I thought there was no better time to talk about my religion then during blogmas, so I am going to tell you guys why am Catholic. Note: If you are not Catholic, or are not Christian then I do not think anything less of you, and I don't hate you because of your values, everybody has different values and I different, and I think this is great, I am just asking that you do the same towards me.

#1 Because I Truly Love Jesus
This one is more of a reason why I am Christian, but yes, I love Jesus, He died for our sins, so we can have eternal life in heaven and he paid the price for us. I want to repay him and God for this, by being Christian, and in my case Catholic, because I want to be the best person I can be in the eyes of Jesus.

#2 Because Mother Mary is the soul who had the honor of holding and birthing Baby Jesus. In the Catholic branch of Christianity, we honor Mother Mary a lot. We have prayers that we say often talking to Mary, and about Mary. This is because we believe that Mary is a very important part of Christianity since she herself was blessed by God, and chosen by God to carry his one and only son.

#3 Because I strive to be like the saints were in my life. Another aspect of Catholicism, is the saints. When you become confirmed in the Catholic church, you take on a second middle name, which is the name of a saint of your choosing. The Saints are very important in Catholic teachings because we are taught to be like the Saints were/are, and be fully dedicated to God, and bring goodness into this Earth. I personally, strive to be like the Saints, and Jesus were/are, and I am going to do great things in my life, that are inspired by these Saints.

#4 Because I want to/am serving God in my life. Once again this is one that is more aimed to why I am Christian. But, yes I am serving God in my life. In my life I plan on/am doing so many things for God. I will be going to Church every Sunday, and even more in my adult life, and I will be a part of Church groups, bible studies, and even missionary work. To me all of these things are important, to help serve God. God can use me to bring his message to the world, and that is what I am trying to do!

Dual Action Moisturizer (Which is better? On Brand Or OffBrand? #2)(Blogmas 2016 #4)

A post that I am very proud of, and that many of you wonderful readers really seemed to enjoy, was my Which Is Better? On Brand, or Off Brand Beauty Blender Edition . I decided to make it a little series because I realize that I love a good dupe, and I want you to join in my journey to great dupes! So welcome to another On-Brand or Off-Brand post!        I think every person can agree that moisturizer is something that is a necessity in a skincare routine, especially in this upcoming winter season! I know in the winter I get very dry skin, and I know that moisturizer can get quite expensive, so I thought I would try out a store brand moisturizer, and compare it to a Clean and Clear moisturizer that I already knew I loved.      These are the two moisturizers that I will be comparing in this post! The clean and clear advantage dual action moisturizer (I know this one is slightly different but I have used both!), and the Walmart...

Life Is Happening RIGHT NOW

One thing that I have really discovered about myself within the past year is that I am way too focused on the future. I often find myself planning my future down to the last detail, and daydreaming.               But let me tell you something. This does not get you anywhere. I realized that I was legitimately spending my life just thinking about a life I dreamed of and planning my future in my mind. However, I soon came to realize that life is happening right now. I am living a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing life now, and if I keep daydreaming excessively I will be living more in my fantasy than in my reality. Though this may sound great, reality is truly wonderful.                I soon began to realize, 'oh dang, I must stop daydreaming'. So that is what I did. I prayed, and I worked hard to stop my daydreaming tendencies. Now I have severely cut down the amount of t...

How I Have Deepened My Faith

A few months ago God truly found me. I knew I wanted to start a relationship with God and with Jesus, but I did not how to begin this faithful journey in my life. However, here I am a few months later and I feel more spiritual than ever. I know I still have a lot to learn, but you always do when it comes to Christ. Here are my tips for starting a relationship with Christ. 1. Pray This is so simple ,but so true. I pray so much. I pray every morning when I wake up to thank God for a safe night. I pray when I am aware I have sinned. I pray before I, or my family eats. I pray before I go to bed. I pray a lot in between. Praying does not have to be a set prayer, you can legitimately just talk to God. It takes a little bit of getting used to, but you get the hang of it as you practice. Remember God knows that you are new to this, and he knows that you are trying and he will help you to learn to pray better. Remember, do not just pray for things, pr...
